Do you take insurance?

At the moment, I am not accepting insurance. However, I can offer you the necessary documentation to file a claim with your insurance provider for out-of-network services.

It's important to keep in mind that insurance billing typically requires therapists to disclose a diagnosis or treatment information, which could compromise the confidentiality of your personal information. Additionally, insurance companies may restrict the type of treatment that can be provided, which could interfere with the personalized approach that I aim to provide. These same limitations may still apply even if you choose to submit an out-of-network claim.

Do you offer virtual or in-person sessions?

At the moment, I am only able to offer virtual therapy sessions. However, I understand that some clients may prefer in-person sessions, and I am are actively working on offering this option in the near future.

I want to ensure that I can provide a safe and comfortable environment for my clients, which is why I am taking the necessary time and care to find a warm, suitable location. In the meantime, I am committed to providing the same high-quality therapy services virtually.

Cancellation, No Show, and Emergency Situations

I understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes you may need to cancel a session. I'm happy to accommodate your needs as long as you provide me with at least 48 hours' notice.

If you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment or fail to show up, a late cancellation fee of $100 will apply. If you're running late, you can still attend a partial session, but you'll be responsible for the full cost of your scheduled time. In either case, you'll have the option to reschedule for another time during that week if available, without incurring any additional fee. No missed session fee will be charged for specific emergency situations.

Do you offer services to those with financial needs?

As a therapist, I believe that everyone deserves access to mental health care, regardless of their financial situation. That's why I'm proud to be a member of Open Path Collective, a nonprofit organization that connects clients with affordable mental health care providers.

Through Open Path, I offer a limited number of sessions each month to clients who have financial needs. These sessions are available at a reduced rate, and they are designed to help clients who might not otherwise be able to afford therapy.

Where do I need to be located for our sessions?

Due to state licensing laws, mental health counselors are only licensed to practice within the state in which they are licensed. This means that if you are located outside of the state where the counselor is licensed, whether on vacation or visiting a friend, I cannot provide virtual counseling services to you.

Please be considerate of our session if you have travel plans, and let me know if we’ll need to reschedule our session. In the event that we begin our session without this knowledge, rescheduling and cancellation options will be discussed.

How much does a session cost?

My current rate for a 50-Minute Session is $150. A Limited number of sliding scale slots are available upon request.
